Considering that many posters here are obsessed with playing devil’s advocate, and sometimes things that should be common sense still struggle to get more than 60% support in polls here, that’s a resounding no. Atlas is many things, but it is not in unquestioning agreement on everything (or anything, really.)

olawakandi aside, there's always been some nuanced discussion here. One thing that's changed is it is a very tall order to try and intellectually defend Trump on a forum full of people who are mostly somewhere left-of-center and well-educated. And if you do like Trump, then naturally it's easier to openly support and defend him on CCord than it is on the forum.

And from what I gather, Atlas always had a left tinge to it. But even in 2004 you still had multiple outspoken opponents of gay marriage. We have a lot more religious users than you would expect for a community of its demographics. In general, the forum's not that politically correct or "woke" and all that's expected of posters as far as LGBT users is concerned is basic respect. 2013 Tumblr, we are not.
