Not the most insightful piece, nor does it ever make clear why small cities and villages - i.e. centers of settlement - are rural. But it has some nice maps (despite professing that maps are "notoriously bad") and concerns itself with an observation that doesn't get much discussion outside of our quarters.

While true from a percentage standpoint, small towns are what give Rs the number they need in most states along with exurbs.
