This would be a horrible idea for many reasons, mainly because Democrats critiqued Trump by saying a reality TV star shouldn't be President and they were right to do so.

Realistically, Harris would get the nomination. That would be bad, but so would unserious scenarios like this.

"You know I think it's good that you mentioned your struggles with running for President.  I ran for President once in the 9th grade and that was very stressful.  I can emphasize with your struggle."
My best friends liberal as hell sister making fun of Oprah a few months ago at a family event.

Yeah, this would turn out well.

If Biden can't run then the new incumbent president, Kamala Harris, will have a one in one shot at being the nominee. I don't know why people have convinced themselves these fantasy scenarios where a party would randomly abandon its incumbent are possible

This is perhaps even dumber than those previous Atlas scenarios assuming that if no candidate can get a majority of delegates to secure the nomination on first ballot at either party's convention, then the party would just nominate some random guy who didn't even run in the primaries.

Nah, if not Biden, there's going to be a Michelle Obama/Hillary Clinton unity ticket.

Just stop it. It's not going to happen. If Biden somehow needed to drop out, it would almost certainly be Harris. Most likely a Harris/Cooper ticket.

Yeah, I prefer the Shadow Michelle Obama Campaign narrative to this one if we’re discussing things that will never happen

She gave the world Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz. There's undoubtedly more issues if you did some digging, as is the case with literally anyone who spent that many years hosting a talk show. Pretty much any Democratic governor would be better.

Bad idea, really. I think the D’s are already identified enough as the party of the generic A-list celebrity. To begin with I thought that this would help them with these stars mobilising their fan bases in their favour, but now I see more how it has probably alienated a lot of WWC voters in places like Iowa and Ohio, playing into the whole “coastal elite” narrative. Trump bucking the celebrity trend and running as an R who ostensibly had the working man’s back doubtless worked wonders with this demographic.

Wait what? "WWC voters hate celebrities, therefore they love voting for a celebrity?"

I'd love to see the debate if she ran and won the nomination, but she has indicated that she's not interested in running.
