It'll take a few more cycles before it's fully appreciated, but generational turnover among retirees is making Florida go hard right and nothing will stop that. DeSantis is only the first of many.

It's simple: Demings is more likable and stronger than Crist. Plus DeSantis got credit for school openings etc among some somewhat apolitical people that may otherwise vote Dem
