Basically for keeping a space command in Colorado..

She may be on to something... the upcoming alien invasion! We need to be PREPARED

https://www.newsweek.com/boebert-biden-space-command-colorado-1816541

Quote
Republican congresswoman Lauren Boebert has praised the Biden administration's decision to keep the U.S. Space Command in her state of Colorado, putting her at odds with GOP senators in Alabama, where it was proposed the military headquarters move to.

The Republican representative for the Centennial State's third district had opposed the Trump administration's plan to move the headquarters to Alabama and had lobbied for it to stay, warning that 1,600 jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars were at risk.

She wants to keep her seat. At least long enough to secure the pension.

Not exactly surprising that any politician in Colorado likes this as much as those in Alabama don’t. The attempts to move it were blatantly politically charged to try and reward a red state at the cost of setting back progress by nearly a decade. I do think Huntsville would’ve been a great spot for the center considering its history in rocketry. But that doesn’t mean it should come at the cost of delaying things by years.

I don't know anything about this-but I like Colorado more as state than Alabama. So, I'm backing the Biden/Boebert team lol.

Statistically speaking there’s probably at least one Biden/Boebert voter out there somewhere. I can only imagine what their politics would be like.

Someone who knows Boebert through something local, perhaps. Someone broadly loosely liberal but is strongly 2nd amendment. Also perhaps someone who doesn't care about politics much but cares enough about it to vote.

Probably even more banal than that TBH, like a Democrat who benefitted from Boebert’s consituent services

There's been someone with a "B" last name or commonly used first name on the national ticket going back to 1976 except 2016 (and they're all either Bob Dole, Bush, or Biden)

She is in a tough reelection and she is gonna lose due to the trend of CO, it's too late she voted for McCarthy as Speaker that blocked the J6 Committee .

That's why Rs lost the recall against Newsom because as soon as McCarthy blocked the Commission, Newsom poll went up

1976: Bob Dole
1980: Bush
1984: Bush
1988: Bush
1992: Bush

1996: Bob Dole
2000: Bush
2004: Bush
2008: Barry
2012: Barry

2016:
2020: Biden

With the exception of 1996, Colorado voted for the guy with the B name every time

(Today I learned that either a Bush or Bob Dole was on the Republican ticket for 8 straight elections wtf)
