During election night coverage, CNN periodically posts key race alerts, which shows the number of votes and the percentages each candidate has in the key states.

At the beginning, Ohio and Florida were examples of key states, and it eventually became clear Trump was winning them. Trump lead in Georgia by 16 points in the middle of the night, and soon Trump was leading in both Wisconsin and Michigan.

Late in the night, after calling a lot of the earlier states (Ohio, Iowa, Florida, Georgia), CNN added Minnesota and Maine to its key race alerts. I believe Trump was down 44.5 to 47.5 in Minnesota at that time, and down 44.1 to 48.0 in Maine. He eventually caught up to 45.0 to 46.5 in Minnesota, and at the end of the night I believe Maine was something like 45.3 to 47.9, which he eventually lost 44.9 to 47.8 after all the ballots were counted.

What was your reaction when Maine and Minnesota were added to CNN's key race alerts, after states like Ohio, Iowa, Georgia, and Florida were called and Trump was leading in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania?
