2023 Fantasy Football

Some of you may have gotten a notification in your emails, I have started up the ESPN Fantasy Football League for a 2023 season. We have operated as a 10 team league in recent years, but I'd be totally find bumping that up to 12 teams this year if anyone new is interested. Last year we had the following participants:

Additionally, as I said, if you haven't participated before, and you are interested, we would be happy to add you on either as a replacement or as a new team in an expanded league.

We don't call Soccer, Football either. It seemed a little late in the season for what Aussies would call Fantasy Football.

When is the draft taking place and on what platform? I’m guessing ESPN (even though I find that platform to be quite dated)

We don't currently have a date set, but we can work on setting one soon.

We have used ESPN in the past. Unless there was a sizable movement to switch platforms, I would likely say it stays on ESPN for now. But anyone should feel free to voice their opinion and/or make suggestions.

I will work on tracking down the others that have not replied yet to confirm their participation.

I started using Sleeper Fantasy as of late. Free to use, better UI overall (even though it's a bit clunky on browser, it's really nice on mobile), more modern looking, easier to read stats, scores, and stuff, and everything, such as positional markers, injury designations, and such, is color-coded. That said, I'm not opposed to ESPN, just not my preferred platform anymore.

I am going to set the draft for 8:30 PM ET on 8/27. If we have considerable issues with that time, we can look to pivot to another time.

So far we have 5/10 from last year confirmed, and 1 new addition. I'll try to finally reach out to the remaining 5 to see who will be back, but if you see your name on here please confirm if you are in or out if you haven't done so already. I am fine if this goes to 12 teams, so we still should have room if another newbie wishes to participate.
