Depends on when they voted for Chavez and when they came to America. You can imagine someone who voted for Chavez in 1998, not necessarily as a vote for socialism but a vote against the perceived corruption and incompetence of the Venezuelan political establishment. This person moved to America at some point in the 2000s, and either didn't support Chavez anymore at this point, or still supported Chavez but slowly came to disapprove of Venezuela's direction under his leadership and swung the other direction.

The other is someone who isn't very ideological and votes based on certain leadership attributes. Latin American politics tends to be very polarized, and often along similar lines as American ones. Your average conservative Latino would never have been a fan of Chavez, and your average Latino socialist never would vote for Trump. You don't get as many Latinos who are on one side of the political spectrum in the home country and the other side in America (in contrast with Indians for example - it's not that uncommon to have Indians who support BJP/Modi in the home country but Democrat/Liberal/Labour in their adopted western country). Short of an ideological shift based on the general shift of Venezuela under Chavez and Maduro, it would have to be someone who just isn't that ideologically polarized.
