Drescher just gave a barn burning speech as she led SAG-AFTRA on strike, with the right populist pro-labor tone. Now, we famously had another SAG president as both California governor and POTUS, so what do we think of Fran’s chances if she’s interested?

Not sure about running for Governor, but I sure do love the TV show "The Nanny"  Smile. I'm binge-watching it right now.

She’s been a bit controversial with her signing the letter addressed to her, traveling to Italy during negotions, etc so she’s not the perfect candidate

Oh here’s a fun tid bit. Drescher previously dated Shiva Ayyadurai, who is now an election denying covid conspiracist. He got 39% in the 2020 Massachusetts Republican Primary

I love Fran Drescher.

I spent a great deal of time watching The Nanny growing up. My family hated her voice coming out of the tv.

The last SAG president to serve while both they and the WGA went on strike (1960) was Ronald Reagan. From this, we can therefore determine that the aforementioned Nanny State is inevitable.
