Another issue with the "Nordic model" is that in at least country (Norway), it's basically ran on the same economic principal as Venezuela, aka let's use lots of oil money to fund lots of social services. Now obviously Norway is nowhere near as bad off as Venezuela now due to the fact that its leaders aren't completely economically illiterate or completely sociopathic pieces of sh!t, but regardless, is a petrostate model something that can be replicated in most places...or even should?

lol.
You're denying that Norway is a petrostate?

Quote
A petrostate or oil state is a country whose economy is heavily dependent on the extraction and export of oil or natural gas. The presence alone of large oil and gas industries does not define a petrostate; countries like Norway, Canada, and the United States are major oil producers but also have diversified economies. Petrostates also have highly concentrated political and economic power, resting in the hands of an elite, as well as unaccountable political institutions which are susceptible to corruption.

The oil and gas industry is Norway's largest in terms of government revenue and value-added. The organization of this sector is designed to ensure the exploration, development and extraction of petroleum resources result in public value creation for the entire society through a mixture of taxation, licensing and direct state ownership through a system called the State's Direct Financial Interest (SDFI). The SDFI was established in 1985 and represents state-owned holdings in a number of oil and gas fields, pipelines and onshore facilities as well as 67% of the shares in Equinor. Government revenues from the petroleum industry are transferred to the Government Pension Fund of Norway Global in a structure that forbids the government from accessing the fund for public spending; only income generated by the funds' capital can be used for government

The difference is democrats are using MAGA accurately
They called Francis Suarez Maga lmao

Which ones did?  Just "Democrats"?  Because I'm pretty sure I never did.  And if you say a majority of Democrats did, that would be a lie.

The official twitter account for the Democratic Party.

I just read the tweet in question from "DNC War Room."

1. They didn't actually call him MAGA.  The tweet said that his support for a nationwide abortion ban is pushing an extreme MAGA agenda.
2. Just because it's from the "DNC War Room" does not mean it's the official position of the Democratic Party.
3. I, and most Democrats, have no control over what they post.
4. It is a pretty extreme position, though.  What happened to "leave it up to the states"?
5. I literally had to go to Twitter specifically to find it.  Simply google searching "Francis Suarez MAGA" did not yield results, thus indicating that it's not something Democrats en masse are saying.

I also found another tweet from "The Democrats", but, again, this tweet was not calling him MAGA, but was referring to his attempts to win over the MAGA base in the primaries.  It would be difficult to argue that the GOP base is not MAGA at this point.

Hopefully! If so, then Democrats are doing something right!
