Ugh. Just when you think Mississippi can't sink any lower, they might be about to elect McDaniel as Lieutenant Governor.

Honestly, if Jim Hood had decided to come back and run this race after losing for Governor four years ago, I might actually be tempted to put this one in the Lean or Likely D category.

There's a very good chance Chris McDaniel wins this primary, and a halfway decent Democrat like Hood or Ronnie Musgrove could win the general here.
