new GOP=a "reasonable" conservative party.  Ethics/Integrity is very important, still pro-gun, but perhaps willing to work with the other side on the issue.  Go after reasonable abortion limits (in line with the American public, ~15 week bans), less heavy on the anti-woke stuff, reasonable positions on soft drugs (for legalization) and hard cops (going after bad ones).  Just more reasonable and less shady.

"past" GOP=whatever the hell you want it to mean
