1) a united France/Germany. Half points but still points if you manage to have them(well more like their internal regions) as part of a federal common europe by 2000.
2) India reforming its 'red tape raj'/'licence raj' in 1970. Also presume that china doesn't get a deng figure. Basically we have the rise of india 20 years early and no rise of china.
3) a world coming from WWIII aftermath from a WWIII either in 1949, 1973, or 1983.
4) a carved up Russia with foriegn enclaves. Bonus points if there is sizeable settlement(as in at least what french had in Algeria(20% of the population) or like Central Asia(like 1/3 of the population))
5) a democratic China. Democratic on the same lines as India at least(Still major problem with BIG amounts of rural poor plus corruption)
6) a "Gran Columbia" still existing. Bonus points if other such regional federations like Gran Colombia or The Caribbean federation tried by some ex-british Caribbean colonies in the 1960s also manage to make it.
7) Make Belize a stable country that's the local equivalent of an asian tiger. Bonus points if you have Belize doing the beginnings of kickstarting the anglophone caribbean rim's( Jamaica, Guyana, Belize, Trinidad and tobago, Puerto Rico(owned by an english speaking nation), Bahamas, Bermuda and whatever ones are still british holdings) economy.
Cool A single nation covers a large portion of Africa. Half points if its something besides a draka-clone. Bonus points if this nation is a federal democracy like India. You officially become an AH god if the federal democracy nation has a smaller, more warlike islamic rival state(pakistan parallel) to its north and west.
9) Have a country reach first world status in Africa. Bonus points if its not Ethiopia, Egypt, Liberia(I know it never had a chance in OTL but we see it keep doing such in AH) or South Africa.
9) an established independent native american country anywhere in North america with half points for putting one in South America(that one is eaiser so less credit)
9) no horses. Effects on the world to have travel time increased? Consider that indo-europeans may never spread...
10) Bat evolved sapiens. What kind of cultural/societal differences would a nocturnal, sonar detecting humanoid evolved from a bat have from Homo Sapiens Sapiens(Big ears are treated like big breasts)?
11) Khrushchev was a deng-like figure for the Soviet Union and the SSSR managing to economically liberalize. Imagine if the entire communist/socialist world does that(The warsaw pact, SSSR, Cuba, North Korea, India(India DID lean towards the left), China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Egypt) and follows it.
13) Cornmwall/Brittany's culture being more "vibrant" and more independent than usual(Note; Cornwall's culture is officially *extinct*). Bonus point if both have vibrant independence movements at least as strong as OTL's scottish independence movements. Even more
14) Both China in the 70s and India in the 90s never take steps to modernize their economies. Effects on the world of no chinese or indian rise in the late 20th century.
15) Czechoslovakia surviving as a stronger democracy. Bonus points if you can somehow manage Yugoslavia surviving.
16) People BIO-engineering raptors before a plauge kills off most of the mammals (no species die off but their numbers are close to extinction, including humans)(the raptors are created in an accident and the plauge kills the people in the lab)
17) Germany in the 80s and 90s starts a strong state funded research program aimed at eliminating hereditary disease combined with Germany moving right-wing.
