It is nothing less than nonsensical and cruel to criminalize consumption based on calories.

If you want to improve the health of Atlasians, maybe subsidize local gym memberships or work with the agricultural sector to lower prices on fruits and vegetables. Slapping exorbitant fines on restaurants for serving portion sizes is not the way to better health standards in Lincoln.

While I enthusiastically support the bill, I do not see how it passes at this point. Unless someone is willing to abstain and leave the final choice to the Governor, I would urge the sponsor to withdraw the bill.
