Ohio awarded 66 delegates to the winner of the state, 0 to anyone else. That winner being John Kasich.

But the question is, if it were proportional, would Kasich have stayed in the race post-March 15? (he didn't withdraw until May 4)

Which would mean Trump would get nearly as many delegates as Kasich, as he got 36% of the vote, pretty close to Kasich's 47%. This means Kasich would get less delegates and Trump would get more.

Probably not but Kasich would have still netted way more delegates as prior to 2016 Ohio distributed delegates by CD winner (most of the counties Trump won are in 1 CD)

In 2012, Rick Santorum came within 12000 votes of Mitt Romney in Ohio only to lose the delegate race 25-38 because Romney won all the CD’s in Cleveland and Columbus.

The dagger to Never-Trump was Florida and Missouri that night.
