When people on this site see a 42-45% figure for both candidates, they  go on and on about, "This poll is meaningless because of all those undecideds!! WHy don't them pollsters push those undecideds? Get it together!"

Here - 44-46% say "definitely not" for Biden, and 46% say "definitely not" for Trump. The pollster himself says: “Negative opinion can be difficult to shift, and when it does it tends to be in the wrong direction for the candidate. That’s not to say these views won’t change in the next year and a half, but these results are a sign of how few voters are truly up for grabs in our hyper-partisan political environment,”

If people don't like either  candidate, then they don't like either candidate. The pollster can't just "push them" to pick Biden or Trump. The most accurate take is that these polls with 42-45% figures contain "neither" voters, not "undecided" voters; and the low poll figures for Trump / Biden do not speak to a poll's unreliability

Redban keeps looking at favs it's an EC college not a popular anyways Rs have not got a majority of the PVI since 2004

Ds have won except Midterms and 2000/04/16 50/47 of the PVI why because MI, WI and PA are D states and have more people in them than R States that's common sense and we have  IL, NY and CA

So a majority of voters do not want either Biden, Trump, or DeSantis.

Perhaps someone else should run then.

And perhaps primary voters in both the Democratic and Republican primaries should choose other candidates.

Biden and DeSantis are who the donors want.  Trump is about the only exception in history of someone who is successful without donors.  However, he himself is extremely wealthy.  If it wasn't for corporate politics, Bernie Sanders would've been president years ago, possibly even decades ago.  Corporate America makes sure it buys elections for candidates who favor their respective sectors of the economy.
