Drag is a form of nightlife entertainment, if there was a burlesque story hour at a library that would be just as weird. Drag isn’t inherently sexual, but why do you feel the need to combine it with young children??

I just want to quickly note that I posted this 10 days ago, and I haven't seen a single right wing poster acknowledge that this happened in any thread, let alone condemn it half-heartedly, let alone condemn it strongly since many of them are extremely concerned about this issue.

People notice that kind of thing, and it speaks volumes.

OK so exactly HOW many right-wingers or their SOs have been caught wearing drag now?

I have a couple questions:

1. Since WHEN was this a thing? I was in a frat in college, and at no point did anyone go "Hey guys let's dress up as women tee hee."

2. Why has no one seemed to find the equivalent among left-leaning politicians? Why is it only right-wingers who seem to be caught doing this "Totally natural thing that everybody does but also is evil and reprehensible and should be banned?"

Just more ammunition for my theory that right-wingers are the most sexaully repressed people on the planet. At the end of the day, they're actually KINKIER than the rest of us, they just HATE that part of themselves. Hell, maybe that is part of the kink???

Different country, but we did this in the last week of school classes in senior year, where the guys dressed as maids and the girls as construction workers. Lasted about ten minutes until the principal put a stop to it. Fun times, still a bit different than the burlesque variety.

I have no problem with drag queens and shows, but the vast majority of people that live off the Dave Liep forum understand that it's a sexual thing.  Why is it so important that drag queens, as opposed to cross dressers, read books to children?  Why did some of the same people who defend story time drag also support the people that allowed a child to dance in drag at an adult nightclub?  It's also some of the same people that thought it was appropriate for a male teacher to wear absurdly large prosthetic breasts with nipples showing through the shirt in the classroom.  I can't wait until some chick walks into a classroom with a prosthetic penis bulging through her pants. 

BTW...
