CNN: And we are now switching to, erm, London or Washington DC, where Senator Michael Z is about to hold a press conference...

Michael Z: Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for coming. I would like to announce that I will not be running in the forthcoming Senatorial elections. I have decided that my priorities lie elsewhere than in the Atlas Senate.

Of course I will support and rally for any candidate who is willing to step into my shoes, be they from the UAC, the United Left, or any other centre/left party, the formation of which I somehow managed to miss out on.

Thank you. No further questions.

^^

Michael, Please vote on all the bills currently put forward, one is a constitutional amendment and thus needs seven votes for, current at three to one. We need all Senators to vote on it.

Sorry to see you retire. You stopped Reaganfan from becoming a *shudders* Senator.
For that we all owe you a great debt.

Sure thing... if I can find the links in this cacophony of stickies and FAQs and whatnot.

But thanks for the nice words, everyone. I had an excellent time serving the Atlas and have absolutely no regrets. But as Al put it...

Thanks for stepping in and whipping Goldie's ass in April.  I appreciate it.
