Impeached and tried for treason. To quote from Aliens, it's the only way to be sure.

Not unless there was evidence that they committed actions that would impact our national security but they should be subjected to a recall.

Merely endorsing secession is not enough to justify impeachment. By itself.
I'd watch out for concrete actions assisting such a movement, the sort of criminal conspiracies that the laws involved were targetted at in the first place.
You have the free speech to say "I am so-and-so and I endorse the South breaking away". You don't have the freedom to conspire with Southern regional officials to advance an illegal secession.
Of course, the former can lead to the latter rather easily, but it's still distinct.

Impeachment is too good for the likes of them. Back in my day these treasonous whelps would be summarily deregistered and banished. At least that's how I remember it.
