Casey loses a few % to undecided, but McCormick only doing 2% better than Mastriano is pretty funny.

Pieman is right about one thing, McCormick is a surefire lover. Rs are better off with someone else

The POS polls show that Trump cannot win with a J6 impeachment record no matter if they find someone else only Trump believes he can win so he doesn't get Prosecuted but he will  lose again and get 15 yrs on an ankle bracelet but D Trifecta can repeal the secret service protection from  Trump  and he serve max security imprisonment

Is Lou Barletta still viable in a primary? I think he was actually a fine candidate who just faced a popular Dem incumbent in a wave year for Democrats. It's not like Barletta has anything to lose.

Barletta is good on paper but lacks the ability to market/raise money etc
I think Bartos would be the strongest. Businessman who can ru. Against "Career Politician" Casey who "isn't who he used to be"

Casey and Biden both win here, I think, even if Biden is losing nationally.

That line doesn't really work when it'd be his third time running statewide. Better off with some random business dude who isn't a loser.

I agree, but I find it hard to imagine Uncle Joe losing the national election if he's carrying Pennsylvania.

Even if he makes it through the primary, which I doubt he would, Barletta is a joke.  The man keeps jumping into races and losing repeatedly, and he's not giving voters anything new, it's all retread ideas.

The other hurdle for Barletta is that his base is in NEPA, which is also the area of the state that Scranton Casey overperforms the most in.  So while Barletta might trim down Casey's margins, he's not gonna beat Casey in the general, especially with Casey being perceived as a moderate hero, kind of along the lines of Collins in Maine.

Probably the biggest threat to Casey would be a conservative but not completely insane veteran of the armed forces, blue-collar, maybe a couple tattoos, libertarian tinge, supportive of legalized marijuana, from the Pittsburgh suburbs.  But honestly I don't see Casey losing, and holding the seat until he decides to retire, at which point NEPA will probably lose its Senate representation to someone from Greater Philly or Greater Pittsburgh, unless Matt Cartwright wants it, and he might not even make it through the primary.

The GOP still needs the correct candidate and correct national mood to carry PA at the top of the ticket. I find PA and WI to be almost the same state in that regard.

All else being equal, PA is still bluish and it will be again next year.
