I would attend all once, I wouldn’t believe in most of these by any means but I’m not against new experiences.

I'm not changing my religion, but I see no objection to going to these places at least once as an observer/visitor.

I interpreted the question as at least semi-regularly and not for a wedding/funeral. So I voted for #3, 5-13, 18 and 26. Obviously this is heavily dependent on the individual church and affiliations.

I'd be most comfortable with #2-4.  I would also attend a Charismatic or Reformed church, depending on how extreme they are in those beliefs.  Like, I'm fine with hands in the air during worship and I endorse a continuationalist view of the Holy Spirit, but wouldn't agree with saying "if you're not speaking in tongues, then you don't have the Holy Spirit".  Likewise, I'd be fine with a more Reformed church as long as they don't completely box in the Holy Spirit or de-emphasize the need to evangelize due to an extreme belief in Predestination.

I'm very comfortable at my non-denominational, theologically conservative, evangelical church.

*I'd actually be curious to visit a Messianic congregation, but I probably wouldn't go regularly because I might feel out of place as a Gentile.

Here is, as far as I can remember, the complete list of religious services I have attended:

- My grandma's funeral (Roman Catholic)
- The religious service portion of two bat mitzvahs (Reform Jewish)
- Something at a Hindu temple when I was in India that I didn't really understand because it was all in Hindi but involved guided prayer and getting bindis applied to our faces but may not have been a full religious service
- Also technically my own baptism (Lutheran), but obviously I was too young to remember

As to whether I would go to a service, my answer for pretty much all of these is "if someone I knew personally invited me to one, sure." The only real exceptions are Scientology, since I assume that would involve me paying them money, which I wouldn't want to do, and Nation of Islam, since there's basically no wing of it that isn't openly and politically racist and anti-Semitic. But "attend" implies "regularly," which would narrow it down the scenarios to basically "if I was married to someone who had a religious service as a major part of their life, didn't mind me being irreligious, but also wanted me to go to services with them, and the place they attended didn't mind me regularly being there as a non-member" So, seems pretty unlikely on balance, but not totally impossible.

None of the above, at least not voluntarily.

I have been to Catholic churches and Synagogues for baptisms/communions/confirmations and Bar/Bot Mitzvahs respectively for family and friends though.

All of the Above.

When I travel overseas, I find going with people to their place of prayer an enthralling experience.

My favourite was Tarakan in Indonesia. The 'call to prayer' goes over the loud speaker as the sun goes down in the afternoon. It was really majestic because the loud speakers around the town echo each other.

So I would put down the Vodka and Orange and the Bacon and Cheese burger and head on down to the mosque with Hasan.

The "for worship" part in the question restricts my response to Haredi Orthodox and Modern Orthodox synagogues - a difference most of us Europeans don't have the luxury to make to begin with - and to Sunni Mosques, which do not pose any halachic problems regarding prayer either. I would probably attend a Muslim service in a mosque before attending a Reform service (never attended either though). I am not quite sure about the halachic status of non-Sunni Mosques.

I would - and do - visit other religious places out of interest when on holidays, though. Frequently visit churches when abroad and have occasionally attended parts of services too, not to engage in worship but to observe how other people worship and what their tradition looks like. (This is not allowed in Judaism though.) In addition, I attended the funeral ceremony of my non-Jewish grandfather in his Catholic church - not sure if that counts as worship.

Odd results breakdown as no option is above 32% especially as "none of these options" is only 24%. Has to be a weird mathematical breakdown.

My first choice would be a Protestant church; I could go to a Catholic and/or Orthodox church if those were the only choices in town. Other than that, I wouldn’t attend any other religious institution regularly (and this would include groups that most mainstream Christian denominations consider cults).

I would be comfortable in a mainline protestant or possibly a Catholic service.

Purely as an observer I would be willing to attend any of these except for the ones where they speak in tongues like they're suffering from demonic possession. Those people are too freaky to be in the same room with.

I would only go to worship at a Church in communion with Rome. I would respectfully observe and appreciate an Orthodox service (though not a Russian one), and any Jewish service if there was a reason for me to be there. I would respectfully attend and not participate in a Anglican service, and that’s about it.

Ones that I actually have attended at some point in my life:

Catholic
Evangelical Baptist
Nondenominational evangelical
Hipster
Lutheran
Congregationalist arguably*
Episcopalian
Charismatic

*I've actually TWICE attended a church that met in a Congregationalist one (both of which closed/will close soon...maybe bad luck lol), but never went to an actual Congregationalist service, unless the joint Good Friday service we did with them one year counts. Also we've had pastors from that church speak at ours multiple times, although that obviously doesn't count as a Congregationalist church service, if it did then Black Protestant counts as well despite an almost all white church.

The strong advantage of the Catholic Church's unity compared to Protestants is clearly seen in this poll.

Hot damn, that's a long list. I didn't even bother reading all of the options.

Would you ever attend any of these religious services? If I was invited, sure. If nothing else, I might get a good story and some fascinating people-watching out of it.

Would you ever regularly attend any of these religious services? Nah. Unless a friend really wanted me to go with them, which has happened before.
