Nobody who doesn't want to answer this question has to. But I'll talk a bit about it anyway - I just hit 8,000 posts, so might as well talk about myself a bit.

I was diagnosed with PDD-NOS (Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Not Otherwise Specified) at 2 years, 5 months. A lot of my earliest memories are of therapy. In terms of how it affects me today, I have social anxiety in real life, though not online. I tend to talk about my own interests a lot as well, though these interests have varied considerably during my nearly twenty-three years on this planet.

If anyone wants to talk about being neurodivergent or anything related to it, feel free. Otherwise, forget that you saw this post.

Diagnosed with Asperger's back in, like, 2004-05, when I was 3. I spent, like, 14-15 years as a literal neurodivergent minor, and now not even my neurodivergence is a minor.

Working is... a struggle. I lasted two months at the Amazon sort center before I couldn't take it anymore. I was starting to get the hang of being a Walgreens temp, but flunked the pre-employment questionnaire for a permanent position because I was too honest with my answers. At this point, I'm wondering if I should just take the L and see about going on disability.

I've been diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, and psychosis. I almost certainly am autistic, but never got evaluated or diagnosed as a kid, probably because despite it being IMO quite obvious to anyone who knew what to look for, I didn't fit some of the really insulting stereotypes and assumptions adults back in the mid 2000's tended to hold.

I've been diagnosed with (what used to be called) Asperger's around 2008 or 2009, as well as ADHD not long after that.

Nobody talks about it because most (accurately) assume virtually all members of Atlas Blog are neurodivergent.

ADHD inattentive type, let's goooo! Also have generalized anxiety and OCD. It's not the greatest thing in the world, but I do appreciate aspects of it. Learning acceptance is the best thing that's ever happened to me.

I was diagnosed with high-functioning autism a year and a half ago (something which probably should have been obvious but I tended to dismiss at a time of my life where I felt much more satisfied, for various reasons including stigma). I don't talk much about it here because I don't have much reason to, but I try to be open about it.

Diagnosed with depression and anxiety, also highly suspect I'm either on the autism spectrum or have ADHD.

I suppose it depends on whether PTSD is considered a form of neurodivergence or not given the changes in your brain and psyche.

I pretended to have autism once in order to avoid suspension from my school after starting a fire in the science lab, does that count?

"Don't commit arson"? Umm, I'm literally neurodivergent and a minor. "No you're not"? No, you're not.

"Don't commit arson"? Umm, I'm literally neurodivergent and a minor. "No you're not"? No, you're not.

Not far off how it went actually.
Something like this, with the headteacher bellowing and me speaking quietly and slowly, the "conversation" going around and around in circles until this point:

Head: "Why did you start a fire?"
Me: "I don't know."
Head: "Why did you start the fire?"
Me: "Because it seemed funny at the time."
Head: "Do you think people being injured is funny?"
Me: "Uh...no..."
Head: "Why did you start the fire?"
Me: "Because I'm autistic."
<Silence, cut to later in the week>

Head: "I looked up the symptoms of autism and I don't think you need to worry about being autistic."
Me: "Oh."

Instead of being suspended (bearing in mind this was just one incident in that crazy year, including throwing tools out of a third floor window and climbing on a roof), I was put onto some kind of system whereby each period a teacher would have to sign-off that I had behaved myself. My parents spent nearly as much time at school as I did that year. I can't entirely explain why I acted out so much that year but it was probably a combination of boredom and showing off. In hindsight I was a massive bellend and the school was very patient with me.

Same, but with autism and some very poorly managed mixed (but inattentive-dominant) ADHD added to the mix

If the majority of the forum is neurodivergent, does that term even make sense ?

Yes, because a majority of the human population does not use this form
