Survey Atlasia: Most Appealing Aspect of the Game

For me it has changed with time. It was all about running for office for the first few years, with news media - The Political Tracker - being an enjoyable if stressful side project.

Then I discovered the joys of embracing a media role with The Crusader, increasingly sparing me to have to engage in embarassing runs of office due to mediocre to awful GOTV skills.

And then it was Game Moderator, another invigorating creative outlet until burnout set in twice.

Out of all those the most passion I invested in was running for office competitively and seriously (with disastrous effects on my mental health here and there), and I certainly wouldn't do that again. Sniping from the sidelines through the media is about as appealing and fun as it gets for me in my veteran phase.

I voted "other" because the most appealing part to me has always been the unfolding of election returns (and the evolution of Census stats) and the two election-related options you gave are quite different from what I mean - in fact I find GOTV dreadful.

I voted Running for Office because it is definitely a favorite and the natural extension of NPCs back in the day was more or less the same skill set and very fun for me, though I believe that puts me in a class of one. But I liked administering Congress just as well, I think I moved gradually into putting more effort into that side.

Reading the news media stuff when it comes up and making laws is also pretty fun, not that I had much opportunity for either.
