I think that Tsongas would propably not generate in 1994 as much backlash as Clinton did ,delaying Republican Revolution or limiting it somewhat. Your thoughts?

It would go probably almost exactly the same. Democrats had to eventually fall, as trends catch up to them, and a recent Democratic president means that Republicans actually have something to run on.

Tsongas might not go on hard on healthcare reform like Clinton, but there will be other factors at play, most likely.

Maybe a few seats go differently their way, but Republicans would still gain the house and senate.

I would say it would be easier for Dems to have Tsongas as President,since he wouldn't propably press as much  for policies that made Clinton initially unpopular...

Agreed. For  better or worse he wouldn't have but I also think a lack of bold initiatives would've made Tsongas vulnerable with the base and that might've had ramifications going into 1996.
