To impress on these kinds of trips you need charm, swagger, people skills, persuasion, pretty much all of the kinds of skills DeSantis lacks. It's one thing to sign right wing legislation sent to your desk or to get testy at lowly reporters, being able to compete on the national stage, domestic or abroad, requires a juice DeSantis doesn't have.
