How would the 1990 midterms look under Jesse Jackson, if he was the first Black president?

Would the racial tension be high heading into 1989-1993 term for him?

Louisiana would have been an interesting one to watch. Ben Bagert might have gotten enough moderates to stay competitive and above Duke for the first round. However, if he had still dropped out and endorsed Johnston, I seriously think Duke would have won the runoff.
