Fmr. Governor Jerry Brown (D-CA) / Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) ✓
Governor Pete Wilson (R-CA) / Fmr. HUD Secretary Jack Kemp (R-NY)

Perot endorses Brown while Republicans face fatigue and factionalism over Wilson's stances on abortion and the tobacco industry in particular. A Pat Buchanan third party run is averted, but only after Wilson is humiliated with a laundry list of concessions at the convention.

Easy victory for Brown, the GOP isn't winning a 5th term.

✓ Former Governor Jerry Brown (D-CA)/Senator Bob Graham (D-FL): 345 EVs.; 52.2%
Governor Pete Wilson (R-CA)/Former HUD Secretary Jack Kemp (R-NY): 193 EVs.; 45.6%
