So I normally think campaign threads are not worth the effort, given how few people actually read them. I have at times created one to address specific issues or because I was running for a new office, but habitually creating one each cycle is not really a worthwhile investment of time. However, to satisfy one atlasian who is proficient in begging, here's some priorities for next term:

Responsible Chamber Administration - I provide a steady hand with a wealth of experience. I can ensure that proper procedures are followed and that Lincoln has an orderly body that is ready to address time-sensitive matters.

Resist Vague Legislation - Lincoln should pass clear bills that enact concrete policy. Vague statements of priorities, or bills lacking sufficient implementation details, should be opposed. Vague bills already in law should be defunded or repealed in the interest of responsible budgeting and enforceable statute.

Protect our Kids - I recently reenacted legislation to keep critical race theory out of our schools. Making people ashamed of their genetics is simply not an appropriate educational topic. I will fight relentlessly to keep this legislation in place.

Make ChristianMan Care Work - I will ensure Lincoln enforces the provisions of christianman care in a way that both avoids pure socialist ideology and keeps our surplus alive, as I have already begun to do with the Better Business Practices Act.

Work in a BiPartisan Way - I will do more than just pass partisan messaging bills and watch them get vetoed. The Better Business Practices Act was passed with the support or non-opposition of myself and the two DA deputies, and signed by Governor Griffin. I also successfully got a drug tax raise signed by Griffin.

Protect the Sanctity of Life - Should an LGC with enough votes to do so get elected, I will seek to reinstate our referendum-endorsed 20 week abortion ban, along with a statutory prohibition on taxpayer funding for elective abortions (in addition to maintaining the existing budgetary prohibition). I believe this is a reasonable level of restriction that balances all the interests at stake.

Additionally, as I am not part of either major political party, I am able to be an independent legislator. My votes are my own and what I truly believe is best for our region. My votes are not the result of instruction from a party boss.

Thank you and I look forward to receiving your vote on April 21st-23rd.
