It's also an interesting topic what would the Russian and Chinese government do if their dictators are assassinated by CIA. But they will at least postpone their imminent invasions before the power vacuum are filled.

Sometimes, but this should not be done just because the dictator is evil. The US has removed dictators many times without thinking about who and what would replace them. This should be planned out before the dictator is killed.

In general, overthrowing dictators in authoritarian countries almost always causes instability. Especially so in the case of Russia and China, which have a history of civil wars and regional conflicts when existing regimes fall.

The elites will fight against each other for power, and it will take years to settle down.

If you are someone higher up in Russia or China, now you have a golden chance to grab more power or even become the next paramount leader, would you rather start a nuclear war with US instead?
