Also, I think he would actually be thrilled if he was replaced by a Democratic President in 2028 after a second term. It would mean he'd be the only Republican that won a presidential election in the twenty years since the 2008 crash. You're being optimistic. There wouldn't even be an election if Trump wins in 2024 (in fact, assuming Republicans hold both houses of Congress, we wouldn't even have the 2026 midterms if Trump also wins.).
