Safe R in the sense that the Democratic Party would not remain on the ballot. America would be a full-blown single-Party dictatorship.

Would we even have an election in 2028? Or an election with more than one party on the ballot?

If Kari Lake is VP, Safe R because a Vice President Lake will not certify a Democratic victory.

Amazed these types of takes are still so popular. He isn't capable of being some kind of Putinesque/Orbanesque  strongman. He lacks the strategic thinking and institutional support it would require. Didn't you learn that in 2021?

Also, I think he would actually be thrilled if he was replaced by a Democratic President in 2028 after a second term. It would mean he'd be the only Republican that won a presidential election in the twenty years since the 2008 crash. His ego would love it and he'd rub it in the face of NeverTrumpers/Lincoln Project members constantly.

Donald Trump will go for a third term and will likely win with the 453 NUT map against Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

You're being optimistic. There wouldn't even be an election if Trump wins in 2024 (in fact, assuming Republicans hold both houses of Congress, we wouldn't even have the 2026 midterms if Trump also wins.).

the Vice President does not have this authority especially after the Electoral Count Improvement Act
