I think it’ll be really close, but I’m predicting it’ll be Vallas. But could go either way.

Johnson had momentum up to last week, I'm guessing a narrow Vallas win. Really don't care who wins, both candidates are blah.

In my mind it’s a coin toss. Whoever wins does so by no more than 2%

Things feel pretty up in the air. I could see it going either way.

Which is an indictment of Paul Vallas. This was his to lose, and he has run a terrible campaign.

My final prediction is Johnson 51.5-48.5 give or take a point in either direction though I think it could be closer tonight, or possibly even with a Vallas lead and then head in Johnson's direction once mail-in ballots are fully counted.

Well, I was right on the money as things stand right now.  Albeit Johnson's margin could increase to around 52% and his victory was apparent much sooner than I thought it would be, which I'm not gonna complain about. For all the crap Chicago gets they handled this election remarkably well.
