If the DOJ extradites him , Trump likely will still blame DeSantis

What does the DOJ have to do with this case?

Sorry to disappoint you OSR, but presidents are not god kings who answer to nobody.

We are a nation of laws, whether you like it or not.

Should Clinton have gone to prison for perjury then . This is literally the equivalent of that and the answer is obviously Clinton should not have .

Breaking decades of precedent over this is beyond moronic

Bold of you to assume anyone in 2023 is going to bother defending Bill Clinton.

I would

This is the 'I'm not a Trump supporter, but" version of "many people are saying this"

The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head.

It is un-American.

The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent.

Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda.

Every Republican politician bends the knee to Trump. This what you get whenever you vote Republican.

It’s nuts. Y’all think the other geezers up in Congress aren’t paying some hush money? Truly the least of all crimes to prosecute, this is going to just make polarization worse, propel a fascist, AND is just a plain dumb reason to prosecute.

Maybe the people getting arrested should be the ones killing the planet, gutting our middle class and passing bills that violate the constitution.

Any member of Congress who has broken the law should face consequences, yes.

OSR,
I think the Grand Jury did the right thing! Mister Trump needs once and for all realize that he isn't above the Law.

However I think that this Indictment is only a prelude of what's to come. I think Garland and the DOJ will charge Trump too since he delibirately told his Attorneys to lie when it comes to the classified Documents.

OSR and Republicans will just call Garland's indictment as just more "witch hunt."

Obviously a huge victory for the rule of law and democracy. Presidents should not get passes to run their campaigns and administrations like crime syndicates like trump did.

Republicans ranting and raving about this are something else. They're really out to lunch. trump's actions leading up to and on January 6th mean he should have been in chains years ago. The fact that he has been free all this time is a deadly serious blight on our justice system.

I took a stroll by the White House to see if there was any kind of protest or reaction there, but as per uzhe, the age of the average Trump supporter here right now is about 13 and just taking selfies along with everyone else.

People are over the Stormy Daniels bulls**t and have been since 2018. This is ridiculous.

Good thing the justice system doesn’t make decisions based on what people are “over” or not.

We have for decades :

Nixon
Clinton
Wall Street Bakers
People behind GITMO

Etc

Are you really suggesting that is a good thing?

Nixon should not have gone to jail for Watergate , Clinton should not have for perjury and nobody in the Bush admin should have .

A bold stance in favor of elite impunity. Hell of a populism you've got there.

I’m not a populist . I despise the fact we are in populist era and really wish our politics went  back to the 1980-2008 consensus even though that won’t happen.

I do think the bankers should have been prosecuted but that’s the only one of the 4
Anyone calling you, of all people, a populist, is willfully lying, or doesn't understand you, or both.
