I love salad. But only in a sandwich.

I don’t dunk my cookies. I bite off as much as I can and then drink some milk and mix them together in my mouth. This is objectively the superior method of cookie consumption (and all baked goods, really).

I've gotten into the habit of eating pizza crusts first.

Too dry (isn't it?)

I bite a small portion of the middle of my pizza slice (where the good stuff is located), and then a small bite of the crust. Then chew this together. Swallow and repeat.
Otherwise, if I ate all the good portion of the pizza slice first, I would not eat (throw out) the crust portion.

The proper way of eating pizza crusts is at the end of the meal with honey.

-I eat pizza without tomato sauce and slightly burn it when reheating it if I'm eating it as leftovers.
-I eat cereal without milk.
-I peel the bland-ass crust off of Poptarts before I eat them.

  • I never use condiments, especially salt/pepper, and if someone else put it on top before serving It'd pretty much ruin the meal for me.
  • I never use butter or any other spread on bread
  • I don't think I've drank anything other than water and Vitamin Water Lemonade Zero for the past 3 years, and like 98% that for god knows how long even longer than that (Occasional beer/wine not included)

Everyone I know says I am the most boring eater they've ever met and they don't understand how. One friend once said I'd feel at home as a 12th century prisoner just subsisting on bread and water.

The weird one: cheese on crackers except it's mozzarella cheese on kettle cooked potato chips.

Others:

I like most things that can be classified as "bread" undercooked. I'm extremely sensitive to "burned" flavors. Sometimes if there's even any browning at all it will taste nothing but burned to me - when I make toast it's actually just hot bread. This also applies to bacon, which is literally the only meat thing I like.

Any soup must contain enormous quantities of black pepper.

I hate milk absolutely and with a passion. To the point that drinking a glass of it was used as a punishment once when I was like 10-11ish. Everything about it is unpleasant to me. Even the sound of it being poured, which is distinctive and instantly recognizable for me.

Also, I tend to swallow pasta and rice whole, with minimal chewing. I'm not sure why, or when or how this habit developed, but it's really persistent.

I like to mix mayo and ketchup to dip my fries in?

I don't dunk my cookies. I submerge them completely, then mix them into the milk. The result is a glass of milk with cookie in it.

If I eat a pop-tart, I remove the crust, and have never toasted one. I've been accused of doing the same with chocolate chip cookies if forced to eat them in company (without drowning them). Hot coco is equally valid with water or milk.

Recently I've developed a taste for mixing mac and cheese with any BBQ meat.

I generally avoid HFCS products when I can, and only seldomly drink pop, but am still fat because I just love food. Especially dairy related sweets.

Every single potato chip I eat, I flip it over to see which side has more seasoning, that's the side I want on the bottom (so my tongue gets more seasoning).

I just do this automatically and subconsciously.  There is no active thought going into it, it's just like putting one foot in front of the other.  I have probably assessed millions of potato chips over the course of my life and picked the optimal seasoning side for 99% of them.

Pouring the milk onto or into the cookie or baked goods is better than either!

Oh My God !
I had a friend who did this all the time (and I mean all the time).
You and he must be made from the same mold.

(Since knowing him, I do it occationally ... when I notice that one side has massive seasoning.)

If I'm eating potatoes cut into quarters or smaller I'll mash them with my fork before eating them every time.

I will always order a steak blue if they let me.

Liking new foods, so if I go to a restaurant, sometimes will order what other people have to experience new dishes.

The weirdest meal is a breakfast which starts as a hot takeaway desert.

It's a Thai black rice pudding in yoghurt with a strawberry.

(Sala Thai - Fremantle)

Order about 4 within a normal Thai take away menu and when they are delivered hot, put them straight in the fridge.

Then in the mornings, pour them out into a bowl  They have thickened up a little with the yoghurt, add heaps of full cream milk (like a cereal amount) and voila ...  the most obscenely tasty breakfast you will ever have.

I prefer wholegrain breac, pasta and rice.

I cannot stand any pasta that isn't al dente - nothing I hate more than the sliminess of macaroni cheese.

I only ever put olive oil on "gourmet" artisan bread- never butter. For me butter is for baking, not day-to-day cooking or putting on toast.

I have a passion for raw eggs, though my girlfriend often urges me not eat them because she's afraid of salmonella.

- I like toast well done to the point of being burnt.

- I like to microwave foods that probably shouldn't be microwaved.

- I'm not a big fan of crispiness (with a few exceptions, such as onementioned above) and often prefer 'soggy' food.

- My favourite sandwich filling is tuna mayonnaise without seasoning. And I like the bread to be buttered.

Oh, I also use cooking sauce (that comes in a jar) as a dip.
