Inspired by Scott’s onion thread, I feel like everyone has at least ONE thing they eat weirdly.

Here are some of mine for example:

-I like pancakes as undercooked as possible in the center (runny inside if I can)
-I eat my chick fil a sandwich by component (I eat the top bread, then the chicken, then the bottom)
-Uncooked rolled oats not only are edible but I enjoy eating them as a snack

What about you?

-I like putting mayo on my roast chicken, especially the breast meat, usually the blandest part of the bird.

-I tend to put french fries in my burgers whenever possible (unless they are densely packed in paper wrapping like Shake Shack does).

People think I'm weird for putting honey on pancakes and waffles, as opposed to maple syrup.  Which is like the most benign food habit one can ever have, and yet it STILL raises eyebrows for some reason.

Get reckt, scumbags.  It's delicious!

when I was a kid I put ketchup on mac and cheese

I still do, but I very rarely eat mac and cheese as it's one of those foods that I kind of like, but not enough to make up for how bad it is for me.  Like most cake.  If I'm going to eat something that bad for, it has to be super delicious.

I put Tabasco on many things, pizza, samiches, fried chicken (actually I use Louisiana Original Hot Sauce for chicken usually), but lots of people do that.  Non-spicey food eaters find it weird though.

I don't go breakfast-lunch-dinner, I go:

lunch around 11-12pm, dinner around 4-5pm, breakfast (cereal or other breakfast foods) around 9-10pm

I've been doing this since 2002 and it's just been a regular thing. I change it when I'm with other people or if I'm traveling.

If I'm eating multiple things, I'll save my favorite for last.

One time I had a couple friends convince me that making hot chocolate with milk instead of water was super weird. I'm still pretty convinced that I was being gaslit though. Unamused

I can't really think of much. I like eggs with ketchup? I like to mix mayo and ketchup to dip my fries in? Cookies taste better slightly undercooked? /Shrug

There was a girl in my sorority who ate her cereal with juice.  Like honey nut cheerios with orange juice.

99.999% of everyone on the planet would send their pancakes back to the kitchen.

Eggnog Soda [preferably Dr. Pepper, but Coke works too]...for some reason this is considered weird, but mixed alcoholic carbonated drinks isn't.

Dr. Pepper as a Marinade [with seasonings mixed in].

Suicide Floats.

The adrenaline of knowing you could get salmonella adds to the flavor. (But seriously don’t know it until you tried it Wink)

If I'm feeling really decadent, I'll eat my cereal with just a spalsh or two of heavy cream (or eggnog around Christmas time) instead of milk. It's like eating chunky pudding with the flavor of your cereal.

There was a time when I dipped wraps and burritos and stuff in ketchup if I thought the fillings were too dry, but I got over that pretty quickly.

I also used to sprinkle Nesquick or Ovaltine on ice cream if I wanted even more sugar than I was already getting. Kind of like putting chocolate syrup on, just with a different texture.

Generally speaking, I don't like different foods to touch each other.

If a sandwich comes with pickles, I won't take them off, but I would also never add pickles in a "make your own sandwich" scenario.

I have a bunch of weird habits, actually. Let me think of some :

- If I have a plate of different foods, I always eat one item at a time before moving onto the next type of food
- I put ketchup, mustard and/or hot sauce on a lot of different things (including mac & cheese)
- I don't heat up cold food before eating it 80% of the time
- I often chew my food, then take a drink, and swallow the food with the drink
- I drink milk by itself (which is apparently only semi-common?), and I get skimmed milk or 1% (not whole milk)
- When I drink milk or put it in cereal, I often put 75% milk and 25% soy milk mixed together
- My favourite stew is baked beans with sliced carrots and peas
- I only like certain kinds of tuna, and I usually eat it on a pita wrap without mayonnaise
- Instead of drinking coffee in the morning, sometimes I make a concoction of 20% pre-made iced coffee, 20% soy milk and 60% milk
- Occasionally I'll put mayonnaise on chicken, hot dogs and french fries
- I've put plum sauce on hot dogs / chicken pita wraps before and would consider doing it again at some point in the future
- I like fruit and vegatables but I don't like citrus (except in juice form / not the actual fruit)
- The texture of tomatoes bothers me a bit, so strongly prefer very thinly sliced or ketchup
- Malt vinegar is the superior vinegar, though I don't use vinegar often
- I often mix 2 different cereals together (with milk also) when I eat cereal
- Blueberry is the superior flavour for muffins, yogurts, etc etc

Not a "hot drink" if it's used as an ingredient
