Today is the day set by the Third Lincoln Constitution for the convening of the 12th Lincoln General Court — being the Dean of the Court, I declare the Lincoln General Court will come to order!
Deputies — please swear in on
the appropriate thread — failure to do so may result in forfeiture of office. Will also take this opportunity to remind members of the activity requirements in our constitution — missing 4 final votes in a row, or 8 within the session, will result in
being automatically recalled from office.
Pursuant to the SOAP, the first order of business is to elect the Speaker.
Will now accept nominations for the office of the Speaker. Deputies shall have 24 hours to make such nominations, after which we will vote between the nominated candidates.
