This bill needs to fail.  No way should the holiday be abolished.

no holidays should be absolished, although this one in particular is tempting

perhaps add a holiday on Super Bowl Monday while scrapping Christmas?

IIRC, a number of holidays have been abolished in the past.
Excluding Christmas, could anyone tell me what federal holidays remain?

I don't really know.

But I'm not voting for any less holidays. If anything we should get more off. Mexican Flag Day and Armed Forces Day anyone?

I propose that October 6 be established as "Opebo Day" or "Max Hardcore Day"

Perhaps the Opebo Day bill and this bill could be molded into one.

Perhaps the Opebo Day bill and this bill could be molded into one.

This sounds reasonable.

I oppose this bill and don't want to vote against Opebo Day, so no.

Mexican Flag Day and Armed Forces Day anyone?

I support the instatement of a Mexican Flag Day to show our support for the Mexican invasion.

The bill has enough votes to fail.  Senators have 24 hours to change their votes.
