A few days ago someone wrote a column indicating that a major reason Beasley lost her race in 2022 was because her campaign was too cautious and she failed to inspire the Democratic base, and that he thinks Stein is currently on track to repeating Beasley's mistakes based on his opening message. While I don't know what Stein has up his sleeve, I do think that if he were to run the same kind of campaign that Beasley ran (i.e. lack of aggression), the result could plausibly be a narrow loss for him.

Yea Beasley lost but Jeff Jackson whom wanted to be nominated for Senate whom clearly has his eyes set on running against Tillis in 26 won she was too liberal for the state

2 candidates in low 40s makes a poll worthless.

Eh... You're telling me he's not running in the vein of Roy Cooper?

Anybody can say anything about why somebody lost. Beasley lost because it was a Dem midterm and her opponent kept his head down and mouth shut.

That's why these Approvals Midterm like may be lying to us again, because it's a Pres turnout not a Midterm

Some of these silly Approvals predicted an R wave and it was a Neutral Environment

I doubt Robson’s brand of social conservatism would play well in the suburbs.

Mark Robinson is far worse a candidate than Budd. Like he literally said that Black Panther was a conspiracy by Marxist Jews to steal money from Black people.

Honestly, North Carolina has a long history of voting for Democrat governors even in red wave years. Wouldn't be surprised if the Dems won another race.

I expect NC-GOV to closely track NC-PRES, so Tilt R it is. I don't see too many people who are willing to vote for Trump seeing Robinson as a bridge too far.

Yet another North Carolina poll that doesn't actually tell us much yet.
