For example: Congress and the executive branch violating the
Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteen Amendment by allowing Jim Crow in many states across the Union (and the Supreme Court ruling that these violations of constitutional rights were Actually Constitutional because “separate but Smiley equal Smiley .”

Or Congress and the Supreme Court not being checks on the executive branch when the latter violates the Fourth Amendment rights of Americans with mass surveillance after 9/11 or “tortures some folks.”

Or what about when Congress does not fulfill the Necessary and Proper Clause or calls into question the validity of the public debt in violation of Section 4 of the Fourteen Amendment?

What are the proper remedies?

Our government is founded on the idea that when a government invalidates itself, people can (and should) abandon the old and create one that works for them. I think that's where the United States is headed sometime in the next century.

And I think such revolution/seccession is a fine and reasonable thing... but that doesn't mean attempts by the right to legitimize their abuses via any current or future government is anything other than evil in action.
