2006 Alabama "What-if": Roy Moore (R) v. Don Siegelman (D)

I was hoping for this race because I like Siegelman a great deal and this gives him the best chance to win the Governorship again; also, Moore is entertaining and would do great things in Jesusland, I'm sure.

Siegelman would be the favorite until being found guilty, in which case I'm not sure what happens.  He loses obviously, unless the Dems could replace him on the ballot (with Baxley?) then I don't know.

There would be a lot of write-in votes for Governor Riley.  If it were well organized, it just might work.
