Turnout update: Until 5pm, 48.8% of voters had already cast a ballot.

Looks like the pre crisis period of 70%+ turnout are long gone.  I guess the crisis plus economic contraction turned off a bunch of voters from the process.

Based on initial results does it look like PE will cross the 3% threshold?

Let me get up to speed: If I understand correctly, the previous Syriza govt changed the electoral system to purely proportional representation, but that didn't come into effect until this election. When ND won the last election, they changed it back to semi-proportional, but that doesn't come into effect until the election after this one. Which means there's no reason for Mitsotakis to try to put together a coalition because if another election is called, it'll be under the new rules and the bet is that it'll guarantee ND a majority? Did I get that right?

I think you need a 2/3 majority to change election rules to take effect in the next election versus the one after that.  Neither SYRIZA nor ND has that sort of majority.

The last 3 polls have them at 2.7 2.7 and 2.5 which is a rise from 1.5-2 levels a week ago.  They have the momentum

Do you agree now that they had a surge?  My main worry was that a Spartans surge will cut into the NIKI vote.  Glad to see both cross 3%
