One wrench thrown in to this is that CO-03 is actually seen as a competitive seat, especially if Boebert is the nominee, so I wonder if that triggers greater spending on both sides part; Ds trying to spend so they can face Boebert who they see as easier to defeat and Rs for the challenger (Just because McCarthy's PAC won't spend against Boebert doesn't mean other PACs can't)

Tbf Don Coram is one of the most moderate Republicans in their caucus. He was not a good fit. I think it would've been much closer with someone like State Senator Bob Rankin, and I wouldn't count on her having this miraculous upperhand given how she almost blew it in 2020. I voted tossup/lean Boebert, but expect it to be a tight margin either way

Agreed. And I know him too. He is a good guy.

But is a guy who turned around and endorsed a Dem the right person to take out Lauren Boebert? No, because as others have noted elsewhere, the GOP primary electorate in this district is far to the right of the district itself.
