Not even close. She's far too stupid to be particularly dangerous and is almost leaving office whether via the primary or general election in the next couple cycles.

She's the most dangerous congress member to have any kind of one-one interaction with because her crazy a** might shoot you.

But she is feckless, powerless, and embarassing as a legislator, and its an indictment of both parties' incompetence that they can't get rid of her. She's harmless where she's at tho, essentially just Matt Gaetz's bit pawn now. She is clearly not smart enough to do any lasting damage, and in a blue state like Colorado can't really fail up. If anything, she's a freak sideshow that makes Democrats forget that all of the Republicans are dangerous, down to Don Bacon, because all of them would rather a spineless, Trump sycophant like Kevin McCarthy than somebody who will fight for our country

This take too... woof lol. How are any of these three women dangerous?

Condoleeza Rice's kill count is higher than any liberal or conservative boogeywoman. Kevin McCarthy himself is down to just let a coup slide. Mitch McConnell, may I remind all of you, was essential in getting corporations legally declared people. The dangerous people in Congress mostly congregate in leadership, the New Dems, and the Main Street Republicans, I'm really sorry to say.

In that she is most likely to bring a gun to work and shoot her co-workers, yes probably.

Why is she governing like she is in a district in rural Alabama? Considering how close her race was, I wouldn't think this would be her approach.

Probably one of the older ones; death by elderly driver is more likely than any other conceivable danger a member of Congress could pose.

If they could get away with it, Boebert strikes me as the kind of person who might object to murdering an opponent. Whereas I actually don’t think Paul Gosar would.

Western Colorado is a combination of far right gun nut areas and liberal mountain resort areas. She represents the far right gun nuts very well.

In that she is most likely to bring a gun to work and shoot her co-workers, yes probably.

MTG is the one who's literally stalked AOC and talked about executing Pelosi/AOC, so she's much more dangerous.

Plus, reminder that Boebart barely won last November. As BRTD said, it's probably a matter of time. If the GOP wins the White House in 2024, Boebart's gone at noon on January 20, 2027.

Ever heard of Marjorie Taylor Greene?

Precisely. And pre-emptively, in case anyone tries the argument that MTG is "too dumb" to be dangerous, Boebart's hardly the sharpest tool in the shed herself. She's literally a high school dropout.

I think the guy who ran against her last year - pretty sure he wan't Hispanic but not sure - was just fine.

A rematch in 2024? I think he probably loses though, tbh, since this year Democrats in CO were buoyed thanks to Polis' landslide (he actually won CO03), and 2024 will be a more polarised and nationalised presidential election year where the GOP nominee for president doubtless wins CO03 by a decent margin, and carries Boebart over the finish line.

If the GOP wins the White House in 2024, though, then Boebart's doomed in 2026.

No, Marjorie Taylor Greene is. She's crazier, and unlike Boebert, at least possesses some political astuteness.

One thing I did like about Boebert was when her Shooters Grill defied  covid measures and the state of Colorado and Garfield County.

https://www.cpr.org/2020/05/14/rifle-restaurant-shooters-grill-defies-a-cease-and-desist-order-to-keep-serving-diners/

covid measures were the worst hill to die on for the American left. utterly insane. Cost Democrats Virginia in 2021, and almost cost them the presidency in 2020. Certainly did prevent a landslide.

Very few of you will ever actually understand this, but the most dangerous (as in frighteningly effective) people are very seldom the most vocal ones regularly making the headlines whose names you will remember off the top of your head.

She is exceptionally off putting to me. You probably are well aware I have a tendency to very much stereotype Republicans [and sometimes some Democrats] into a caricature parody. Boebert is that parody.

She is more off putting than Dr. Oz to me even.

Locally, I do know she is more unpopular than a generic R in her home county of Garfield. Mesa County may be dangerous and provided Boebert her margin of victory, but it has swung quite a bit left from the Obama years and before. Would be funny if a reduced margin there does her in in 2024.

I expect Pueblo County to vote for whoever the Democrats run in CO-03 in 2024, but the margins there are tenuous.

I would honestly say yes. I did like her at first when I heard she was having her restaurant defy public health orders!!

But everything else I hated about her!
