Is Billy Joel's "Piano Man" better than every emo song ever made?

My biggest issue with Piano Man isn't anything to do with the song itself, but how much it gets played compared to all other Billy Joel music. I'm way more likely to dial up Scenes from an Italian Restaurant or Allentown just because I never hear those even though they're great songs.
