Depends on what they are for.  If they are for Medicare, healthcare, or social security, forget it.  Let Republicans take the blame for causing us to default because Democrats wouldn’t agree to cut popular programs.

Any deal which leaves the debt ceiling still existing is unreasonable

Unfortunately with a Republican congress, the only alternative is default.

What, Obama and Biden made a deal with Border Wall, and Sequestered cuts in exchange for the Debt Ceiling, with Boehner the Corporate taxes were changed to 20 percentage in 2017 tax cut it was 35 under Obama

Biden has to do what McCarthy wants unlike in 2017/2019 there was no Pandemic it's unreasonable to shutdown Govt during a Pandemic

Headlines of “Republicans shut down government since they can’t cut social security” will play very well.

The govt won't get shutdown, during Pandemic it wasn't shutdown during the 2021 Debt Ceiling

Conceding stuff to raise the debt ceiling in my world is like giving Russia slices of Ukraine that it invaded in exchange for a cease file. Everything for defense, not one cent for tribute. If you want to change the design of the budget, go out into the public square to persuade and elect. If there is going to be a government shut down, the first to go should be the pay of Congress members, permanently for the period of the shut down. The rat bastards are not going to like that, since so many are into the life style of the rich and famous. It's true. Boring polich wonks are out, and superficial show horses are in, and the media loves it.

I do have to admit I see no purpose for a debt ceiling if we just keep raising it again and again. It's utterly pointless. I support a debt ceiling, but only if it actually reins in spending instead of just being raised again and again, because at that point it's just a pointless joke and a sad mockery of what it should be.

Why Democrats didn't abolish the debt ceiling on Jan 21, 2021 I will never know.

There's a consistent framing that raising the debt ceiling should be the responsibility of Democrats, which is ridiculous. The Republicans control the House, if they want the US to default then that's their choice, but Democrats shouldn't cut anything.

Maybe if it is broad based cuts instead of just social programs(Just maybe, if done in good faith) but i doubt it will end up that way

anyways if you ever wonder why the dems never got the debt ceiling, its mostly to increase their leverage in negotiations when they are in minority. Usually the republican establishment has an easier time working with democrats than the "tea party" on budgetary issues

The military is a popular program, too.

And that is how you end up with "compromise" in Congress.
