Casey DeSantis (b. 1980)
--First Lady of Florida (2019-2025)
--First Lady of the United States (2025-2033)
--U.S. Senator from Texas (2033-2041)
--U.S. Secretary of State (2041-2045)
--Republican nominee for president, 2048 (defeated)
Nah, I don't think she would carpetbag to Texas to run for Senate. However if her husband gets elected POTUS I can definitly see her going down the Clinton Route running for Senate as a First Lady like Hillary did in 2000.

Florida doesn't have a scheduled Senate election in 2032 and Texas is the friendliest state to GOP carpetbaggers (other than Florida itself, that is.)

Problem is FL won't have a senate seat up in 2032 so it's either running 2 years early or 2 years late if she doesn't carpet bag.
Having the first lady as a senator for the final 2 years of her husband would be something to see tbh.

Does she get Zucced for violating the TOS? Is that the scandal that sinks her when she was leading throughout the campaign only for the scandal to peak just in time to swing the long-Titanium Tilt R states of  North Carolina, Alaska, Montana, and Utah to the Zucc?

Obviously that's what DT was hinting it - I'm surprised more people didn't get it, seemed like a fairly obvious reference to her.

Hillary was also First Lady of a state (Arkansas in Hillary's case; Florida in this case), then the national First Lady, then a senator from a state she carpetbagged to (New York in Hillary's case; Texas in this case), then the secretary of state, and then the failed nominee for president from her party (2016 in Hillary's case; 2048 in this case).

EDIT: Oh my mistake. Lol.

Putting my sharp political differences with DeSantis aside, I actually find that interesting or good. As political leader, I'd also view my wife as an equal partner and not just some trophy that shows up at kindergarden events or dinner parties.

I agree with the sentiment- my partner is my closest advisor in everything I do and would remain so no matter where life takes me. But there's a fine line - I think an active involvement that includes independent decision-making and direct management can be problematic and even toxic, and create resentments in an organization as well as open the partner to attacks. For example, the fact that Sarah Netanyahu is reportedly involved in making major appointments and vetoed alliances with political figure she personally hated like Ayelet Shaked is extremely toxic. Kamala Harris' sister having a big active role in her campaign was probably harmful, too.

Do you think Casey DeSantis would be less of an archconservative than Scott/do you think she would be wholly in line with RDS ideologically?

Casey is supposedly even more of a partisan hack than her husband so she'd be easily one of the most conservative members of the senate GOP conference, perhaps even the most conservative.

I could see this harming her if she started to get involved in elected politics as a candidate.

She would probably make a good (subjective, and I figure I wouldn't like her tbf) lifelong U.S. Rep for a super Republican district somewhere in FL
