School Body Exercise Act

Section I — Title
This bill may be cited as the School Body Exercise Act

Section II — Physical Activity at School
1. Schools will be required to give all pupils 8 hours of physical activity every week in the form of sports, and activities that promote body movement, like:
a. swimming
b. walking & running
c. gymnastics & yoga
d. athletics
e. team sports
f. dancing
g. fitness (starting from grade 7)

Section III — Post-School Activities

1. More post-school activities will be organized that promote physical activity and sports among children

2. Every kid aged from 3 to 18 that voluntarily wants to join a sports team, club or group will be subsidized for financial costs by the Lincoln Government. Lincoln will provide 50 million for that.

Section IV — Lincoln campaigns to move

1. 20 million will be spent on a campaign to promote sports and body movement
a. It will be highlighted that moving reduces the chance of obesity and diseases
b. It will also be highlighted that moving and sports reduced chances of mental illness from occuring
c. Sports doesn't necessarily have to be competitive. It can be fun, and a fun sports exists for everyone.

Section V — Implementation

4. This legislation shall take effect on 1 January 2023.

Don't agree with most of this bill, as I believe the physical education classes our schools currently have are good enough and that eight hours a week is excessive and could cut into other subjects. (I do support the campaign described in Section IV.) However, Section III Provision 2 is the only part I find outright objectionable.

I'd say 5 hours a week - one per day - would be a better number.

2. Those five hours will be distributed properly in the week and there should not be more than two (2) consecutive hours of physical activity for a student on schools.

2. Every kid aged from 3 to 18 that voluntarily wants to join a sports team, club or group will be subsidized for financial costs by the Lincoln Government. Lincoln will provide 50 million for that.
