It's likely not simply a lazy eye but rather the result of the severely traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries he suffered as a Navy SEAL. So you're in the clear.

Srs question, but are there actual standards for congressional pictures? I notice on wiki there's a handful of members who use completely different backgrounds. Could someone hypothetically troll and like purposely do crazy hair, make a weird face, or even go naked?

Agreed. It's Andy Ogles of TN05 (the gerrymandered, formerly deep-blue, district, the bluest of three that takes in portions of Davidson County). Per multiple sources, he's on the far-right.

There's another FLGOPer elected last month who's also quite nice looking - Laurel Lee (like Luna, she's from the Tampa area, too) - as well as Maria Elvira Salazar (Miami-based FL27; first elected 2020). Though I agree Luna is more attractive than either of them.
