KANSAS INVASION SETTLEMENT ACT

1. The government of Atlasia hereby authorizes the payment of $2 Billion to the Southern Region to compensate the Southern Region, the State of Kansas, and all other Southern residents for all civil damages resulting from the unlawful 2022 invasion of Kansas. Upon acceptance and receipt of the full settlement amount, the Southern Region shall forever release any claims it has against the government of Atlasia for all civil damages resulting from the unlawful 2022 invasion of Kansas.

So the Supreme Court determined that the Kansas fiasco earlier this year violated the law and the victims were eligible for compensation. This settles all claims so we can wrap up the final loose ends before 2023 and we wont ever have to think about it again next year. This puts that story to bed.

How certain are we as to the amounts presented being reasonable? I am very concerned that, especially if our objective is to bring closure here, that the people in the western most reaches of my sub region are not left wanting for compensation once this is passed.

- Any damage related to the 1 reported air bombing

- Any damage to roads from excessive military vehicle use

- Any wages payable to any Southern guard who actually reported based on Trumans orders

- Any wrongful death claims/ tort claims from NPCs killed, wounded, or with damaged property

- Any economic damages from business disruption or contract interference from the invasion

- The Souths legal fees

These amendments are aimed at ensuring some fiscal responsibility. I do not think we should just be writing a blank check of billions of taxpayer dollars to a region known for terrorism and criminal activity.

KANSAS INVASION SETTLEMENT ACT

1. The Southern Region hereby accepts the proposed settlement offer from the government of Atlasia of $2 Billion payable to compensate the Southern Region, the State of Kansas, and all other Southern residents for all civil damages resulting from the unlawful 2022 invasion of Kansas. Upon receipt of the full settlement amoumt, the Southern Region shall forever release any claims it has against the government of Atlasia for all civil damages resulting from the unlawful 2022 invasion of Kansas. All settlement funds shall be deposited in the Kansas Reconstruction Trust Fund and shall be subject to audit by the Atlasian government.

2. This act shall take effect immediately.

KANSAS RECONSTRUCTION ACT

1. $2 Billion from the Kansas Reconstruction Trust Fund is hereby authorized to be expended through FY 2025 to repair, rebuild, and reconstruct any public property damaged or destroyed during the invasion of Kansas, cover the costs and losses incurred by the Southern Region and the State of Kansas resulting from the invasion, and settle all legal claims by persons in the Southern Region who were harmed or damaged by the invasion.

The following amounts shall be expended for the following purposes:

A. $400 Million for the repair and replacement of roads and other public infrastructure damaged during the invasion.

B. $450 Million to compensate private property owners for damages and losses resulting from the invasion.

C. $600 Million to compensate heirs for wrongful deaths resulting from the invasion.

D. $450 Million to compensate the State of Kansas for lost revenue, reputational harm, and other economic damages resulting from the invasion.

E. $10 Million to construct road signs at every border crossing between Kansas and the Commonwealth of Fremont reminding persons crossing such border that Kansas is a Southern State.

F. $90 Million to compensate the Southern Region for any expenses incurred resulting from the invasion.

2. This act shall take effect immediately.

As can be seen, the South has already created a budgetary trust fund specifically for Kansas to separate the federal funds from the general fund. The southern bills would release all claims upon payment, deposit them in a separate fund, agree to federal audits, and also includes the breakdown of funds. The South wishes to be very transparent in this process.
