Pop stans are completely insane. There were people doxxing and threatening to kill a Pitchfork writer for "only" giving a Taylor Swift album an 8/10.

Tbf pop is highly underrated on most review sites, and few people take it serious, incl. a lot of reviewers.

If you cannot set your bias aside, don't write reviews. I read a lot of bad reviews often.

Pitchfork however is one of the better/best music review sites imo, and stands for quality.

The average classic rock fan is more pretentious/douchey than the average kpop fan, but the worst of the kpop fans are actual psychopaths.

Err, I don't like takes like this. The entire act of criticism is bias unless you write the same review for everything. You like some things and not others and that's an entirely subjective process.

Pitchfork rated the album Sounds from Nowheresville by the Tings 1.8/10 (lowest rating an album from 2012 got), which is one of my favorite albums of all time.
