There are not 46 genres of music!  Spotify wants there to be as many music genre as there are genders in San Francisco.  

I'd say there are six genres.  Classical, rock, rap, pop, country, and jazz.  Every song is some sort of variation of one or more of those six.

What about stuff like Massive Attack and Portishead?

Never heard of them.

A very rare example of non-post-/emo/-core type music that I like.

Those two songs are both on the Mt. Rushmore of the trip-hop genre alongside Glory Box, Midnight In A Perfect World, and Overcome.

btw for both of the songs you linked the albums also kick ass.  Mezzanine is an album you can listen to start to finish and it's all good and a complete experience.  The first song Angel is f---ing awesome if you have a good sound system.  Dummy is also really good but most of the music doesn't really sound like Sour Times or Glory Box.
